Electrical Design
Sarasota, FL · Construction/FacilitiesIs responsible for independently performing and completing project-related efforts to
include drafting and designing using the AutoCAD and Revit software packages, performing intermediate design functions, including equipment selections, advanced modeling and detailing, learning and advancing in your chosen design discipline, and performing basic calculations and intermediate-level technical functions.
Responsibilities at this level will include mentoring and reviewing the work completed by junior staff, including reviewing project set-up documents. Design Level II will be required to work with other senior designers and engineers on a variety of tasks, and it is expected that individuals at this level will continue to advance technically, will be able to work independently, and will be able to complete intermediate-level project responsibilities from start to finish.
Essential Functions
Provide support to senior designers and engineers on an as-requested basis.
· Independently perform technical drafting and design in REVIT and AutoCAD as assigned.
· Complete projects from start to finish, including floor plans, details, schedules, and specifications
within the allotted time schedule as required to meet project deadlines.
· Review the work of Design Level I individuals and assist with training and mentoring of junior staff.
· Perform various related office or field tasks to gather, tabulate, calculate, analyze,
interpret, and record data as needed for the completion of construction documents and reports
related to projects independently.
· Perform related duties as assigned to include a complete and thorough review of completed work
before review by senior staff and submission to the client.
· Visit project sites and attend meetings to document site conditions, gather information
as needed, and serve as a company representative.

Experience/ Education
- A minimum of three years of experience is required; however, the length of experience is not the only deciding factor in advancing to this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
